50 is Fabulous!

50 is fabulous, I keep telling myself that. It doesn't feel fabulous. In fact, it doesn't feel any different than 49. It's just a number! It just happens to come after 49!  December 20, 2015 was the day I hit the half century mark. 

 I just don't know how 50 came so quickly! I don't understand where the time went or who nudged that clock too much! Sometimes, mentally, I feel 30, but physically I sometimes feel older than 50. It's a surprise everyday! 

We had a big party in July for Brian's 50th. I just wanted a small family lunch with no hoo-rah. I was still recovering from my back and tooth surgery and "quite" sounded like a good way to commemorate this occasion. 

We had lunch at Floyd's Seafood, waited on by my son, with family and great friends!

Kim and I before lunch. I asked for a diamond tennis bracelet, which my sweet husband happily obliged! I received other thoughtful gifts too! And beautiful flowers from my Tarlov Cyst Cyster, Wendy, in Tennessee. 

It was a great day to be 50!
