Independence Day, commonly known as the
Fourth of July, is a federal holiday in the United States commemorating the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, declaring independence from the Kingdom of Great Britain. So, today is The United States of America's
237th birthday! This holiday is often celebrated by fireworks, backyard BBQs, parades, etc. But, let us not forget that today is the day we became a free nation, and to remember those who fought so we would have our independence!
